North East Social Trust (NEST) is a Non-Profit Organization working in the north eastern states of India for exploration of alternative rural livelihood, strengthening institutions of local governance and ensuring elementary education in the rural areas of the region.

The organization is registered as a Trust on 21st of October 2002 under the Act XVI of 1950 with the registration no 1340/352.

The head office of NEST is situated in the Dighalipam Village, Near Dichoi Chariali, Dergaon, Golaghat, Assam- 785614, India.

The Board of Trustees composed of five members makes the major decisions of the organization. The executive committee headed by the managing trustee and the executive director is responsible for the implementation of the decisions made by the board of trustees.
